Meet the Tuckaseegee Opportunity Hub
In December 2019, Freedom Communities completed our first community investment, purchasing a historic neighborhood asset — an empty church — in Enderly Park that would have been lost to redevelopment.
The Tuckaseegee Opportunity Hub, addresses multidimensional and interconnected needs - serving people and families holistically. This site will now address four community priorities ...
1 | A neighborhood based preschool provider will expand to this site providing 5-star early education for 65, zero - 3 year olds
2 | It will provide workforce readiness programming within walking distance to a community with 20% unemployment.
3 | The sanctuary of the church will be preserved as a church
4 | The fellowship hall will be leveraged for community gatherings ranging from community collaborative events, AA and NA meetings, community meals, art shows and more.
New Affordable Housing in Partnership
with Crosland Southeast
Through a partnership with Crosland Southeast, Freedom Communities is the owner of new affordable housing developments.
We will provide care coordination for families living within these units.
