We’re here to connect you and your children to the resources you need to thrive.
Moms Moving Forward is a 12-month program for mothers and their children. This group is designed to provide a support network for moms to share milestones, successes, and challenges of being a mom.
We know your time is precious, so we pay you to participate in each of our 3 program components:
PERSONAL & GROUP COACHING
Weekly 1:1 coaching sessions
Monthly group workshops
Build relationships with other moms
CHILDREN'S EDUCATION
Educational support
Advocating for your child's education
FINANCIAL LITERACY
Build your savings
Build your credit
Feel confident in your finances
You can earn up to $200 per month!
Our next cohort begins in March 2025, but we accept applications on a rolling basis.

Program Eligibility:
Mother living in the Freedom Drive Corridor with home zip code of 28208
Age 21-45. If under 24, must have a lease in own name
At least one child under the age of 12
Must have HS diploma or GED
School-aged children should be enrolled in at least one of the following:
Bright Future Learning Center (Tuckaseegee or Greenland location), Ashley Park: K-8, Westerly Hills Academy: Pre K-5th, Ashley Park: Pre K-8, Ashley Park: Pre K-8, Movement Charter (West Campus), Niner University Elementary, Thomasboro Academy)
Employed for at least 90 days
No evictions w/ unpaid balances
No felony convictions or pending criminal charges

Our Graduates Have Made Great Strides!
HOUSING: 55% came into the program with unstable housing; 95% graduated with stable housing
EDUCATION: Upon entry, 45% could often or always rely on their network vs. 86% of graduates
EMPLOYMENT: 34% improvement in average Graduate wages
FINANCES: 23% had no debts or were current in all debts: 50% graduated making consistent payments or had no debt
Credit Scores up avg of 31 pts (Avg. score 604)
64% came in w/no or less than 1 month of savings; 100% graduated with 2-3 months of savings
